INDUSTRIAL SABOTAGE

ALLIED NETWORK IN EUROPE FUNDS FROM AMERICAN LABOUR (Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 28. The New York Post says that millions of dollars are being sent to occupied Europe by the A.F.L. and C. 1.0. unions to help underground Labour leaders of the Allied sabotage network to prepare for the United Nations' invasion. Under the direction of Mr Sidney Hillman, of the C. 1.0., and Mr Mathew Woll, of the A.F.L., the unions are raising approximately 4,000,000 dollars to promote industrial sabotage behind the German lines. Immediately substantial sums are collected the money is despatched by secret agents to Europe. Then couriers distribute it to workers in French mines, German factories, Czech munitions plants, and railroads throughout the Continent. A considerable part of the money supports the 1500 underground newspapers, such as Le Populaire.
