REGISTERED NURSES

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION

The council of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association met' last Friday evening, when Miss Young presided. The election of an Educational and Social Committee for the ensuing year resulted as follows;—Mesdames Bundle, Hill, McDonald, Murray, Walker, Misses Campbell, Fulton, Gow. Grant, Liddell, and Owen. Mrs Tannock was re-elected to represent the association on the St. John Ambulance Association, and Miss Braithwaite and Miss Muirhead were appointed as representatives to the National Council of Women. The sum of £ls 15s was allocated to the Nurses’ Memorial Fund. Every effort is being made to improve nursing education so that the maximum number of suitable girls may be attracted to the profession and given the best possible training.
