NAZI BARBARITY

TREATMENT OF JEWS LABOUR’S APPEAL TO MANKIND (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Dee. 15. Describing Germany’s avowed aim lo wipe out the'Jews as “history’s bloodiest crime,” the Labour Party Executive appealed “ to the conscience of civilsed mankind to arise in passionate protest.” The statement urges Germany’s allies “to refuse further complicity in this monstrous policy,” and adds: “We ap-' peal to all who still have power and influence in Europe at least to make an effort to save the children. The homes of Jewish men and women are being broken up and their families scattered and deported. The young Jews are being taken into enslavement, driven to death by hunger and cold, and tortured and murdered with calculated and pitiless scientific savagery. There is ample evidence that this crime has been methodically organised and is being carried out with such thoroughness and persistence that within a short time the Jews within the frontiers of the German new order in Europe will be exterminated.”
