CAMPAIGN ENDED
FIGHTING IN MADAGASCAR ARMISTICE TERMS SIGNED (Rec 5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 6. The War Office announces that armistice terms in Madagascar have now been signed, and that the campaign has been brought to a successful conclusion. A report from Vichy says that Marsha! Petain agreed to the Governor, M. Annet, seeking an armistice, but insisted that the negotiations were purely military, and forbade political parleys.
