Mr R. J. Knowles was a passenger for Wellington by the through express on Saturday. Mr C. N. Bell, of Green Island, has been elected as the Otago and Southland member of the New Zealand Pharmacy Board, The candidates in the election were Mr Bell and Mr R. Merrett Wilkinson, who has been a member of the board for some years. Passengers by the northbound airliner on Saturday were Mr C. Kemp. Miss N. Wood, Mr H. J. Oliver, Mr W. J. Murfitt, Mr K. Screaton, Mr J. McLennan for Christchurch, Mrs A. Russel], Mr S. Fleming, Mrs S. Fleming for Wellington, and Mr C. C. Green for Auckland.
