SWEEPS OVER MALTA
ENEMY AIR RAIDERS (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 5. A Malta message says that enemy aircraft made two fighter sweeps during the day. Both were intercepted, one Axis plane being destroyed in the morning and one damaged.
