FINE BUT COLD Forecast lor Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, for the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office In Wellington:— Moderate southerly winds becoming variable, but easterly breezes on the coast; weather mainly fine but cold. Weather in Dunedin. —The weather yesteroay was fine, with bright sunshine and cool temperatures, the maximum recorded being 49 degrees. A light wind was blowing from the south-west. The barometer rose in the morning, and then remained steady, the reading at midnight b-ri’ig 30.34 inches (1028 millibars). Further Outlook.—Fair, with moderating day temperatures.
