EXCHANGE OF CIVILIANS
BRITAIN AND JAPAN CANBERRA, July 13. Arrangements have been completed for the exchange of 1800 British civilians, including diplomatic and consular officials detained by the Japanese, for a similar number of Japanese held in the British Empire countries. The exchange will take place at Lourenco Marques, Portuguese East Africa. Eight Australian officials and about 30 Australian non-officials will be included in the exchange.
