MORE WOMEN POLICE

ACTION IN MELBOURNE (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 24. Because of the behaviour of girls and soldiers in the city streets, the State Cabinet has decided to appoint four additional women police for the metropolitan area, making a total of 12. In a report to Cabinet the Chief of Police stated that there is decided evidence of a lack of parental control over young people.
