FIRE CALLS
The Central Fire Brigade was called out at 1.24 a.m. yesterday to a Are in a house occupied by Mr A. S. Ridland at 44 Ferguson street, Musselburgh. The house was a five-roomed wooden dwelling, and the fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen and the rear portion. One bedroom was slightly damaged by water. At 5.56 p.m. the brigade dealt with a chimney fire in Castle street.
