SHIP CONSTRUCTION
AMERICA'S FINE EFFORT (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 22. United States shipyards placed 58 new ships, of 652,000 tons, in service last month, said Lieutenant-ct>mmander Price at a launching ceremony. He declared that ship construction was now surpassing the most optimistic dreams.
