DAILY INTERCESSION

The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord Cod hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

O Thou Who did'st of old speak to Thy servants the prophets, and impart to them, unflinching courage to face whatever life brought, give to us this day courage to take up our tasks again with strength of purpose and tenacity of will. Though we live in dark days give us light in Thy love to see beyond the darkness of the present, to Thy purposes which are being worked out in our lives and in the history of nations. May we play our part weTl and may no sacrifice we are called upon to make be grudgingly accepted by us when we realise that only through the sacrifice of Thy Son was man's salvation won. Amen.
