DAILY INTERCESSION

Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let them also that hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. • In days of trial, in hours of anxiety, O God we come to Thee. The world is full of cruelty, injustice, and oppression, of man's inhumanity to man. Grant that before Thy holy presence these evils may melt away as wax before the fire. We pray that in Thee men may learn true brotherhood — notthrough our own sinful eyes would we see our brethren, but through Thine eyes of love and understanding. We pray that in Thy spirit men may learn to avoid cruelty, to seek justice, and not to desire power, to injure another. Oh Thou who dost send Thy rain on the just and the unjust, who dost cause the sun to shine on botn the evil and the good, give to us a like patient all-inclusiveness in the services we would render — give to us to go the second mile, and not to grow weary in well doing. Ameri.
