A SECOND AMBULANCE

JEWISH WOMEN'S GENEROSITY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 16. Representatives of the Jewish Women of Wellington this morning presented to the armed forces through the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) and the Minister of Defence (Mr Jones), a trailer ambulance for use in this country. Recently the Jewish women of New Zealand presented a fully-equipped ambulance for service in the Middle East. The Ministers expressed the warm thanks of the Government and the armed forces. The trailer was purchased from the surplus of the enthusiastic support accorded in Wellington to the appeal for funds for the Middle East ambulance. It has been assigned to the fortress field ambulance.
