A QUEUE FOR EGGS
The sale of eggs at a shop in Dixon street, Wellington, attracted a queue ot 200 to 300 men and women, extending nearly 100 yards. Prices were 3s 8d and 3s 4d a dozen. Shortly boi'ord noon the shop displayed a sign, "No eggs left."
