" How am I to order a wife to return to her husband when he is a soldier in camp?" asked Mr Justice Callan in the Surjreme Court at Auckland when a territorial sought an order for the restitution of conjugal rights. His Honor said that compliance with any order he might make would "deDend on the soldier getting leave from camp. "And there, is alwavs the chance that his leave may be cancelled and he be given fatigues." he added. His Honor said he would allow 42 days in which the order would have to be complied with.
