ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY

WOMEN ON HARBOUR CRAFT (Rec. 7 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 12. Canadian girl members of the Royal ■Canadian Navy Service will do sea service after all. though not on corvettes or destroyers—they will man harbour craft. British “Wrens” have arrived to confer with and advise Canadian naval officials. The duties of the Canadian Navy girls will include replacing every man possible ashore in work such as radio location, coding. secretarial and cycling. They will also handle motor launches for boarding ships and ferry working men along the shore line.
