r FAIR AND MILDER Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, for the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate .to fresh south-westerly winds changing again to north-west- . erly with a few showers at, first on the south coast; otherwise weather fair and temperatures .milder.'. •■"/rFurther outlook: Rather unsettled.. Weather in Ounedta.— After .several days of cold and mlsty rain, the weather cleared in Dunedin yesterday, and the sun shone for the greater part- of the day. A light easterly wind was blowing. Temperatures were mild,, the. maximum reading being 57 degrees. .The barometer remained steady and at midnight the reading was 30.00 inches (1016 .millibars).
