CITY POLICE COURT
Sarah Elizabeth Smith, who was described by Senior Sergeant Black as an incorrigible character, came before Mill. W. Bundle. S.M.. in the City Police Court vestcrday on a charge of drunkenness. This was her fifth appearance on similar charges in the past six months, the accused's explanation that she had had liquor at a party and. becoming frightened, had looked for a constable so that, she c'ould be locked up, carried little weight with the magistrate, who sentenced her to three months' imprisonment.
