MULLETT BEATS PASCOE (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Apl. 20. In one of the most stirring professional contests seen in Wellington for many years Don Mullett, the 19-year-old Wellington boxer, outpointed Bill Pascoe, the Southland veteran, before a crowded audience over 12 rounds tonight. Mullett had the advantage in weight, height and reach, Pascoe countering with his greater ring experience and clever technique. LIGHT-WEIGHT CONTEST (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Apl. 20. The professional light-weight boxing contest between Clarrie Gordon, of Auckland, and Clarrie Rayner, of Blenheim, was won by Gordon easily on points.
