WAR SAVINGS BONDS
ISSUE IN AMERICA
(Rec. 1.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Apl. 19. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Henry Morgen than, will open l a campaign at Washington on May 1 for the voluntary public investment of at least 10 per cent, of income for the purchase of war savings bonds. Purchases now total 3.000,000.000 dollars. The new campaign is expected to bring a large increase in the rate of purchase.
