CITY POLICE COURT

Monday, April 20 (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) Conversion of Car Francis Raymond Hunt, aged 19, appeared for sentence on a charge of having unlawfully converted a motor car to his own use.—He was convicted and placed on probation for three years, and ordered to make restitution amounting to £25 to cover the damage done to the car. Maintenance Stanley Frederick Moore, charged with - disobedience of a maintenance order, the arrears under which amounted to £22 10s, was sentenced to three weeks' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as he pays £5 on or before April 23 and £2 a week thereafter until the arrears are discharged.
