REPERTORY SOCIETY

“NINE TILL SIX” i An interesting glance at life behind the scenes of an exclusive millinery and dressming establishment is shown in the Dunedin Repertory Society’s production, " Nine Till Six,” which commences on Thursday. The action of the play is centred in the store, and an insight is gained into the private and business life of Ihe staff of the House of Pembroke. The audience follows the fortunes of several, from the head of the house herself to the two new apprentices, one the daughter of humble parents, the other the daughter of a peer, who is working to augment her pocket money. Attractively staged, “ Nine Till Six ” offers great chances for displays of lovely frocks, an item which will appeal to every woman. The production has an all-woman cast, and is in the capable hands of Miss Bessie Thomson.
