THE OAMARU RED CROSS APPEAL

TO THE EDITOR

Sir.—ln reply to the letter signed “Curious,” published in your issue of to-day’s date, I wish to state that no payment has been made out of the funds of the society towards the cost of any uniforms, and each individual member of the transport section has to find the total cost of her own uniform. If “ Curious ” is still not satisfied I .would suggest that he, or she, sees the honorary secretary (Mr H. P. Kent), who will at any time make available for inspection the books of the society.—l am, etc.. Eva S. Morton, Oamaru, March 2. President.
