(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 2. The following New Zealand air personnel are reported casualties: — Gray, Sergeant Cecil Montrose, R.N.Z.A.P., missing, believed killed on air operations; mother, Mrs T. M. Gray, 11 Eltham’road, Kohimarama, Auckland. ■Gill. Pilot Officer Frederick Kenneth, R.A.F., previously reported missing believed killed, death now officially presumed by Air Ministry as in May. Macdonald, Sergeant Hugh McLennan, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing believed killed: father, Mr H. A. Macdonald. 31 Hackett street. Herne Bay, Auckland. , McQuitty, Leading Aircraftman Albert Edward. R.A.F., previously reported missing, death now officially presumed by the Air Ministry as in February, 1941; father, Mr J. McQuitty, 241 Main road, Ravensbourne. Taylor. Sergeant Ronald West, R.N.Z.A.F.., previously reported missing believed 1 killed, death now officially presumed by Air Ministry as in July; father, Mr A. S. Taylor, 17 Knowles street, Christchurch. Vaughan, Flight Lieutenant Richard John, D.F.C., R.A.F., previously reported ■ missing believed killed, death now officially presumed by Air Ministry as in December; father, Mr M. Vaughan, 306 Southampton street, Hastings. NAVAL CASUALTIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 2. The following naval casualties were announced to-day:— Paterson, Leading Seaman Robert Murray, missing, presumed killed: father, Mr R. S. Paterson. Kennlngton, Southland. Hartnell, Able Seaman Edmund Saxelby, missing: mother. Mrs Florence A. Kerr, Wellington, Green, Ordinary Seaman Sydney Clarence, now dangerously ill as the result of being seriously wounded (as previously reported): mother. Mrs Emily E. Green'. Wanganui.
