Tuesday, February 24 (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) Tenement Cases The Independent Order of Oddfellows (Mr R. A. King) proceeded against Alfred James Rodgers, claiming possession of a dwelling in Douglas terrace. —An order was made for immediate possession, the warrant to be suspended on condition that the defendant pays the current rent (£1 per week) and ss. weekly off the arrears. In a claim for possession of premises brought against Charles Boyes by Philip Bridge (Mr R. L. Fairmaid), the magistrate made an order for possession on or before March- 10, the warrant tobe suspended on condition that the defendant, in addition to the current rent of £1 per week, pays 4s weekly off the arrears.
