MORE RAIDS ON MALTA

LITTLE DAMAGE CAUSED (Rec. 0.45 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 24. Ten alerts were sounded in Malta during the 24 hours ended yesterday. Five were given when enemy aircraft crossed the coast and dropped bombs, causing negligible damage. There were no casualties. Later yesterday a number of aircraft again crossed the coast and dropped bombs, causing slight damage. Anti-aircraft defences shot down one bomber into the sea.
