DUNEDIN SERGEANT'S DEATH (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 10. The following official air casualties are announced (all R.N.Z.A.F. unless otherwise stated): — Donaldson, Sergeant' Leslie George Raymond, killed in aircraft accident; father, Mr R. Donaldson, Dunedin. Gifford, Flight Sergeant Emil Algernon, killed in air raid; wife, -Mrs N. E. Gifford, Auckland. Kayser, Leading Aircraftman Colin McFarlane, died of injuries received in air raid; wife, Mrs L. G. Kayser, Raetihi. Schdroski, Leading Aircraftman Francis Laurence, severe burns in air raid; mother, Mrs Schdroski, Tutira, Hawke's Bay. Carter, Leading Aircraftman Raymond George, moderate burns in air raid; mother, Mrs A.-- Carter, Bulls. Sargent, Leading Aircraftman Sydney Edward, moderate burns in air,raid; wife, Mrs E. M. Sargent, Tiniroto. Dense, Leading Aircraftman Ernest William, severe burns in air raid; mother, Mrs E. H. Dense, Kutuku. Docherty, Leading Aircraftman Neil Edwin, moderate burns in air raid; father, Mr A. Docherty, Ngapara. Meredith, Leading Aircraftman Samuel Owen, severe burns in air raid; wife, Mrs C. Meredith, Palmerston North.. Batley, Sergeant Arthur Raymond, missing in aircraft accident; wife, Mrs A. R. Batley, Christchurch. Litchfield, Flight Lieutenant Frederick Lorse, R.A.F., prisoner of war; next-of-kin unknown in New Zealand. Clark, Sergeant Allison Bernard, previously reported missing believed killed September, 1941, death now officially presumed; wife, Mrs A. B. Clark, Auckland. Dash wood, Sergeant William Starrier, previously reported missing, now reported prisoner of war in Germany; mother, Mrs J. H. Dashwood, Marton. Downs, Sergeant Harry Chapman, previously reported ■■ missing, now reclassified missing believed killed; mother, Mrs A. E. Downs, Wellington. Eccleton, Pilot Officer William Davies, previously reported missing believed killed August, .1941, death now officially presumed; father, Mr W. C. Eccleton, Auckland. Evans, Sergeant Mervyn, D.F.M., previously reported missing, believed killed in July, 1941, death now officially presumed; father, Mr D. P. Evans, New Plymouth. Harrowby, Sergeant lan Gordon, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing believed killed; father, Mr G. A. Harrowby, Auckland. Kennedy, Sergeant Brian Daniel James, previously reported missing in July, 1941, death now officially presumed; father, Mr M. A. Kennedy, Karioi, Main Trunk line. Langdon, Pilot Officer Charles Edward, R.A.F., previously reported missing believed killed in February, 1941, death now officially presumed; father, Mr A. E. Langdon, Hawera.
