AUCKLAND GAS COMPANY The accounts of the Auckland / Gas Company, Ltd., for the year show that after provision for working expenses, rates, land tax. depreciation and other charges and after provision also for Income tax and social and national security taxes, and the payment of an interim dividend, a balance remains of £18.987. It is recommended that a dividend of 2i per cent., making 4 per cent, for the year, be paid, absorbing £11,978. and that £7009 be carried into the next ’year’s account.
