AIR RAID SHELTERS

ORGANISED LABOUR'S PART ASSURANCE OF MAN-POWER (PA.) WELLINGTON, Feb; 6. Mr P M. Butler, secretary of the General Labourers' Federation, says that the organisation is fully behind the Government and the Minister of National Service, Mr R. Semple, to push ahead with the necessary air raid shelters. The Minister of National Service had said that the Government would be responsible for the material. Organised labour held itself responsible for the man-power, and was anxious to get on with the job. All it wanted to know was how many men were required, where and when, and it would do the rest.
