OFFICERS INJURED
GAR STRIKES TELEGRAPH POLE
ACCIDENT ON MUTT ROAD
(P.A.) ■ ' WELLINGTON, Feb. 3. Severe injuries were suffered by two captain*, a? lieutenant, and a sergeant when the car in which they were travelling struck a telegraph pole on theHutt road this morning. The injured men D. Eckhoff, head injuries, not considered ieridua; Captain G.H. Weir, extensive hea#injunes; Lieutenant" K. R. Reed, head injuries arid fractured thigh; and Sergeant N. Hogg, lacerated head injuries and injured ankle.
