PATRIOTIC BOYS

Two New Brighton primary school boys, Gerald Hardy and Jipck Hume, have entered into a patriotic partnership. They are making small fretwork animals and other objects, designed to serve as wall calendar holders, which are being sold for 3d each, or 6d, complete with calendar. All the proceeds from these saleSi which so far amount to Bs,' are being paid into the Canterbury Provincial Patriotic Fund. The boys left samples of their work at the Christchurch City Council, and were commended by officials of the fund.
