TOWN HALL DANCE

A third heat of the competition for girl dancers will be-beld at the weekly Town Hall dance to-night, when the main hall will be in use for modern dancing and the Concert Chamber for old-time dancing. Prize money totalling £23 is offered for the contest, in which couples of girls have to dance the Destiny waltz, the modem waltz, the military two-step, and the quickstep. The contest, which is creating a great deal of interest, is being judged by popular vote. The Georgians' Strict Tempo Band will be in the main hall and Freddie Hinds and his Royal Hawaiians in the Concert Chamber.
