PATRIOTIC TOURNEY Although play was interrupted by heavy showers, a further three rounds in the Rinks tournament organised by the Caledonian Bowling Club for patriotic purposes were completed yesterday, the section winners being Claridge (St. Kilda) and Thomson (Anderson's Bay). The post-section games and the finals will be decided to-day. The following were the results of yesterday's play:— First Round. —Livingstone (Caledonian) 26, Sykes (Caversham) 16; Petrie (Opoho) 21, Hungerford (Caledonian) 20: Claridge (St. Kilda) 21, Callander (Otago) 19; McKay (Caversham) 31. Sanderson (Leith) 20: Plogg (Leith) 21, McGifren (Opoho) 18; Anderson (Roslyn) 17, Ravenwood (Valley) 13: Thomson (Anderson's Bay) 22, Rowlatt (Caledonian) 18: Bolt (Portobsllo) 23. Butterfleld (Kaikonii) 14. Draw for To-day The following is the draw for the post-section games to be played today:—First round (9.15 a.m.): Claridge (St. Kilda) v. Rigby (Dunedin). Second round (1 p.m.): Newall (Caledonian) v. Thomson (Anderson's Bay), McGovern (West Harbour) v. winner of Claridge and Rigby.
