It has been, decided that NO RELIEF EXPRESS TRAINS or RELIEF I PASSENGER TRAINS for distances exceeding 100 miles will be run from SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20, 1941, inclusive, until further notice. RESERVATIONS which have been made on ALL TRAINS from and including December 20 (including the normal services, which will be retained) will be cancelled, and on request a refund of the fare paid, together with the reserved seat or sleeping car charge, will be arranged. No commission will be charged on such refunds. t Those persons who have adequate reasons for desiring to travel on and after December 20 and who are required to cancel their bookings in accordance with the above restrictions may rebook by the ordinary services, but such rebooking will be regulated within the limit of the normal accommodation available on those trains. All intending passengers'over distances of 100 miles, will be required to give adequate reasons for desiring to travel. No guarantee can be given that, trains will be available for the return journey, as it may be found necessary to cancel trains without notice should circumstances necessitate this course.
