There wag less business than usual at the monthly meeting of the/. Dunedin Bowling Centre on Saturday night. The Opoho Club was granted permission to hold a one-day tournament on February 28 next. ■ • ’ . . The Tournament Committee reported that 88 entries had been received for the Christmas pairs tourney. Owing to the request of the Prime Minister. Mr P. Fraser, to limit travelling to a minimum during the holiday season, a large number of players who are in the habit of taking part in tournaments farther afield have now cancelled their holiday arrangements, and ih view of this it has been decided to reopen the entry for the Christmas pairs and extend the closing date till 5 p.m. on Wednesday,
