PUBLIC NOTICES \TOTICE UNDER THE SUPPLY CONTROL EMERGENCY REGULATIONS, 1939 THE TYRES~AND-TUBES CONTROL NOTICE, 1941/ NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in pursuance cf the powers vested in me by the Supply Control- Emergency Regulations. 1939, Amendment No. 1, I, Daniel Giles Sullivan. Minister of Supply and Munitions, hereby give notice and, direct as follows: 1 (1) This Notice may be cited as The Tyres and Tubes Control ■Notice, 1941. (2) All persons in New Zealand who on Sunday, December 14, 1941, had in their possession or control or on order by them any new or used tyres or tubes not affixed to a vehicle as part of the normal equipment thereof are, required to furnish in writing to the Secretary of Supply, Wellington, information and particulars in relation thereto as set out hereunder, namely In. respect to each, different specification of tyre or tube: (a) Quantity; (b) size according to usual trade description; (c) quality or grade according to usual trade description, showing separately: (1) Standard, (2) heavy duty, (3) other types; (d) vehicle for which suitable, showing separately: (1)' Car,, (2); truck, (3) other tj'pes: (e) estimate as to con- • dition.’shotving 'separately; (1) New, (2) used but serviceable, (3) used but /serviceable when retreaded, (4) used and useless: (f) name of manufacturer and country of origin. ‘ The. information and particulars as to tyres and tubes respectively are to bo set out on separate schedules. (3 The information and particulars set out in clause (2) hereof are required to be delivered to or placed in the post addressed to the Secretary of Supply.
