The Ministry of Economic Warfare announced that traders in Latin America had been informed that Britain regarded Metropolitan France as. enemy territory. Therefore attempted trade with it would be regarded as similar to trade with 'ltaly and Germany. F
The explanation of Britain's viewpoint is ( that it is designed to check supplies of raw , materials reaching French industries working for the Germans.
