INJURED MAN TRANSFERRED BROUGHT TO DUNEDIN HOSPITAL While police inquiries continue to be made, there have been no fresh developments in the Moa Flat tragedy, which occurred on Wednesday, except that Mr Charles Henry Flaxman was brought by ambulance from Tapanui last night, and admitted to the Dunedin Hospital. He is suffering from a wound in the throat and shock, but his condition is not serious.
The body of Mrs Marion Flaxman, the victim of the tragedy, was taken to Tapanui on Wednesday, afternoon, and the funeral took place at Tapanui on Thursday. Members of the police and detective forces from Dunedin, who are making the investigations, are staying at Tapanui. Superintendent P. J. O’Hara intends to return to Dunedin to-day, but there is no indication when the other members of the party will follow. The inquiries are said to be proceeding satisfactorily.
