MAINLY FAIR Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at. 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:^Mederate south-west winds with some loeal showers, but weather mainly fair and cool. Further Outlook.-r-Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin.—The sky was dull early yesterday morning, but conditions improved during the day, and the afternoon was fine and sunny. The maximum temperature was 58 degrees, and pressure rose to 30.20 inches (1023 millibars) at midnight. A light variable breeze prevailed.
