GIFT OF HAIR
In response to the appeal for blonde hair by the American War Department, an Auckland woman has sent some of her hair by air mail to the United States. She states that her hair was of the fine texture required by the War Department. Failing information as to what address the parcel should be sent. she is mailing it to the War Department. Washington. D.C. The report stated that the hair was used in meteorological work, and must be at least 12in long.
