TOWN HALL DANCE
On account of the Concert Chamber being engaged, the weekly Town Hall dance on Saturday night was confined to the main hall, where an evenlydivided programme of modern and oldtime dances was held. There was a large crowd of dancers, and great interest was taken in the " dancing jackpot," competition both by those taking part and the.large attendance of spectators. The music for the modern and old-time dancing was supplied by the Georgians' Strict Tempo Dance Band, and vocal numbers by Miss Martha Maharey, and Messrs Arthur Waller and David Maharey were well received
