RETURNED SOLDIERS
DUNEDIN ASSOCIATION MEETING OF EXECUTIVE The Executive Committee of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers' Association met last night, when there were -present Messrs W. E. Earnshaw. in the chair, J. M. White, C. R. McLean. J. B. Stewart, H. Perry. W. K. Cameron. W. H. Thomson, G. H. Ferens, A. Duncan, S. G. Scoular, D. S. Chisholm, and' W. F. Forrester. Eight nominations of members of the Ist N.Z.E.F. and seven of members of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. were approved, as were one transfer in and one transfer out.
On the recommendation of the Social Committee it was decided to entertain returned men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. on October 22. The committee reported that the Women's War Auxiliary "at home," held on Friday, had been very successful. Messrs Earnshaw, Forrester, and O. L. Ferens (the secretary), were appointed delegates to attend the special general meeting of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association to be held at the end of this month.
