STEAMER EXPRESSES

THE INTERISLAND SERVICE NIGHT SAILINGS RESTORED (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 11. The interisland express steamer service will resume night running on Tuesday, leaving Wellington at 7.15 and Lyttelton after the arrival of the 7.10 train from Christchurch. Passengers booked for morning sailings from Tuesday onwards will be transferred to the same accommodation in the evening sailings unless they arrange otherwise with the office of booking.

TRAIN TIME TABLES THE NECESSARY CHANGES The resumption of night sailings by the steamer express service has resulted in a change in the time tables of the night express trains. After to-day, the 11.2 night train from Christchurch to Dunedin will leave Christchurch on Sundays only. The night express from Invercargill to Christchurch will leave Invercargill at 6.30 on Sundays only, and this train and the Sunday to Friday 10 p.m. express from Dunedin will now leave at 11.20. The 5.5 p.m. Sunday train from Dunedin to Invercargill will now leave at 5.20 p.m. From to-morrow, the 7 a.m. Invercargill to Lyttelton wharf express, which runs from Tuesday to Saturday, will leave Dunedin earlier until further notice. It will arrive here at 10.35 a.m. and will depart at 10.50, arriving at Lyttelton at 7.8 p.m.
