ADMIRATION OF STAND MESSAGE FROM NEW ZEALAND (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. The Prime Minister, Mr P, Fraser, announced in the House of Representatives to-day that he had sent the following telegram to the General Officer Commanding in the Middle East, General Sir Claude Auchinleck: “ During a discussion in the New Zealand House of Representatives on the progress of the war I was asked to convey to you and, through you, to all concerned, our warm admiration of the stand being made by the troops in Tobruk. The suggestion received unanimous approval from al! sides of the House, and I have great pleasure in conveying to you this testimony of our appreciation of the magnificent spirit displayed.”
