AMERICAN CORPORATIONS BILL BEING DRAFTED WASHINGTON, Sept. 25. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Henry Morgenthau, in a statement to the Press, announced to-day that the Treasury experts were drafting a Bill limiting corporation profits to 6 per cent. He said: “We are going to make it as fair as possible, but, of course, somebody is going to get hurt. We cannot continue to live as we are and be the arsenal of democracy. We ought to remove the profit motive from war or national defence." Asked whether industry would co-onerate under profit limitation, ha replied in the affirmative. *' I have sufficient confidence in industry. They are as patriotic as anyone else.”
