FALL FROM PLANE
WIRELESS OPERATOR’S- DEATH AIR FORCE ACCIDENT (P.AJ WELLINGTON, Sept, 11, The Air Department, Wellington, an-, nounced to-night that a wireless operator, Aircraftman George Herbert William Taylor, was killed this afternoon when he fell from an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force during bumpy weather near. Havelock., Aircraftman Taylor was born at Temuka in 1921, and was the son of Mr George Taylor, of Temuka. A court of inquiry will be held. CRASH AT KAIAPO! PUPIL PILOT KILLED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. A pilot under training. Leading Aircraftman Bryan Walter Lambourne, was killed at Kaiapoi this morning when an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force crashed during dual training instruction. The other occupant of the machine, Pilot Officer Kenneth Sinclair Blair, was not iniured. Leading Aircraftman Lambourne’s mother i.s Mrs M. Lambourne. of Mount Albert, Auckland. The cause of the accident is obscure, and a court of inquiry will be held, held.
