MAILBAG LOST

RESULT OF ENEMY ACTION (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Aug. 29. The Postmaster-general, Mr P, C. Webb, announced to-day that a small mail, which consisted of one bag of letters from Great Britain and which was routed by surface mail across the Atlantic and by air mail across the Pacific, had been lost through enemy action. The approximate dates of posting are June 10 to 13 inclusive. The mail contained . no registered articles.
