CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL Allocations (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Aug. 28. The T. G. Macarthy Trust at its-an-nual meeting to-day allocated £13,020 to educational and charitably institutions, making a grand total of over £295,417. The allocations include:— Home of Compassion, £650; City Mission, £600; National Art Gallery and Museum, £500; Free Kindergarten. £300; Mayor’s Metropolitan Relief Committee £450; Seamen’s Mission, £250; New Zealand Red Cross headquarters,- £250. - ” Others to benefit include various Christian organisations of a charitable nature, including homes* and orphanages, etc;; St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Y.M.C.A., the Y.W.C.A., and the Boys’ Institute. The Victoria College Students’. Asso-._ ciation receives £2OO and the, Welling-, ton R.S.A. a similar amount.
