\ - PROPOSED CHANGE OF CONTROL ADMINISTRATION BY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Aug. 27. A resolution, “That in view of the history of the organisation of vocational guidance and juvenile employment in England and the recommendation made at the last conference of this association, he would again urge that the present dual control be replaced by vesting complete control in the Education Department," was adopted at to-day’s session of the New Zealand Vocational Guidance Association in Wellington. Under such control. it was stated, it was assumed that a senior officer in each centre would be appointed by the Education Department. according to suitability, irrespective of sex and of former association with the Department of Labour or the Education Department. A further resolution adopted was; “That details of this change of control be discussed at a conference' of representatives of the Education Department, the Labour Department, the Public Service Commissioner’s Office, and the New Zealand Vocational Guidance Association." '
